IGF-1 LR3 – IMT Programs for Muscle Wasting and Excess A-Fat

Thats right! Our physicians now have the option to prescribe you IGF-1 Long R3 if your health history and diagnostics warrant treatment.

What is IGF-1 LR3 and why is this important?

IGF-1 Long R3, or IGF-1 LR3 is a form of IGF that has been chemically altered with change in amino acids. It consists of 83 amino acids with a substation of Arg-R for the Glue-E at position three, hence the name R3. This altercation allows LR3 to avoid binding to proteins in the body which in turn allows it to have a longer half-life and significantly enhances the potency in comparison to IGF-1.

Daily, every other day and every 3 day dosing schedules have worked well for our clients.

Since LR3 is more potent than regular IGF-1 due to the decreased binding, LR3's main purpose is to increase biological activity of IGF.

Essentially, when IGF-1 LR3 is active in the body it has different functions dependent on the tissue it is in. For instance, in muscle tissue, it makes the muscle more sensitive to insulin's effects, such as a reduction in fat storage. Conversely, most patients while using IGF-1 LR3 experience some weight gain because of the increase in LBM (lean muscle tissue).

So if your staring down the barrel of diabetes or simply cannot maintain a healthy BMI, our physicians may think this program will suit your goals and improve your overall health profile.
